Location

The fourth TALFF will take place near Tallinn, at Rae School (Copperleg Art Residency).

Transport

By bus: take bus 135 or 145C from Balti Jaam to the Vaskjala stop. From the stop, it is an 8-minute walk to the school building.

By train: take the train from Balti Jaam to Aruküla station. From there, it is about 25 minutes by bicycle.

By bicycle: 19 km, via Peetri, Rae, and Jüri.

Accommodation

Accommodation will be in tents or in the hall with others (limited number), on your own mattress. Bring your own tent/mattress. Participants who live in or are staying in Tallinn can also sleep in their own beds, as cycle paths and public transport connect Rae well.

Food

The ticket covers the food on site for the day. Food is vegan. We will offer snack breaks. We recommend bringing your own cup, plate, and cutlery.

Tap water is not drinkable; we will have drinkable water available on-site at all times. You can get hot water for free at all times. If possible, take your water with you.

The closest shop, Konsum, is reachable on foot in 45 minutes, by bike in 15 minutes, and by car in 5 minutes.

Comfort and accessibility

There is one toilet and two showers on the ground floor, and one toilet on one floor up. There will be a sauna on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Outdoors, there will be a portable toilet and a handwashing station.

Depending on the activity, seating will be available on chairs, cushions, rugs, the floor, the grass, or mats. You are welcome to bring your own blanket.

Access to the building requires climbing three high stone steps. The toilet on the first floor is accessed via steep stairs. The area is not fenced, but bordered by a hedge, and a low-traffic road passes by the site.

The programme includes activities in both Estonian and English.

If you sleep indoors, please note that you will be sleeping in a shared room with several other people.

You can ask the organisers about food allergens.
